Do you ever feel like you just can’t get your skin under control? You try product after product to keep it clean and blemish free, only to end up with dry, flaky skin (and still have acne)?

Many of us have been there, and it gets frustrating…quick.

Luckily, there is something that can help. A new moisturizer that will not only work to keep your face clean and balanced, but hydrated as well.

It’s time to take a look at our new Tea Tree Cream!

Using Tea Tree Oil for Your Skin

When you’re working on healing and soothing your skin it needs the right environment. Without it, you can wind up going around in circles or even making things worse.

When I was dealing with acne I spent a lot of money to end up apathetic, with dry and irritated skin. This was because many of the cleansers on the market are just too harsh on the skin. Couple that with lotions and creams that don’t do their job, your skin isn’t in a position to improve.

Let’s look at what the ideal conditions would be to really clear up our skin:

1. Keep It Balanced

When your skin is too oily or too dry it is a symptom and a cause of trouble. Like all organic matter, skin has a pH level. When this gets thrown off by diet, hormones, toxins, and other things it can become too acidic or too alkaline.

When acidity gets too high you are left with overly oily skin. When it becomes too alkaline you get dry, cracked skin. This imbalance can lead to an over growth of bacteria or yeast, inflamed skin, breakouts, and more.

Your skin needs a balanced 5.5 pH.

2. Keep It Clean

If you are having trouble with acnedermatitis, or eczema, keeping your skin as clean as possible is a must. This breaks down into three ways:

  1. Oily skin. Your skin produces an oil called sebum. It lubricates the hair and skin. If too much sebum builds up bacteria and/or yeast is allowed to get out of hand. To much bacteria makes you prone to acne, too much yeast leads to different kinds of dermatitis.
  2. Clogged Pores. Build-up on the skin can cause your pores to clog, leading to pimples, blackheads, and backed up sebum. This must be prevented or it will only lead to more skin problems.  It also leaves your skin looking rough.
  3. Flaky skin. Acne, dermatitis, and dry skin all cause the skin to flake. These flakes are pieces of dead skin that need to be exfoliated to keep your skin smooth and your pores open.

3. Help it Heal

Providing your skin with the right vitamins, minerals and other nutrients can greatly increase how fast it can heal. Your body will of course naturally heal itself, but there are natural ingredients that are proven to speed up the healing process.

When we want to look our best, why not take all the help we can get?

4. Prevent Irritation

Diet, pollution, toxins, and chemicals can all have negative effects on the skin. If you are using skin care products full of harmful ingredients you aren’t going to get very far. All they do is cause irritation and make things worse!

Sticking to plant-based products will help you avoid as much irritation as possible.

Luckily for us, tea tree oil has been shown to help each of these key points. We mixed it with other powerful ingredients to make a safe, effective cream.

Let’s look at each ingredient and see how they can help:

8 Natural Ingredients for Healing Troubled Skin

Each ingredient listed below is natural, safe, and proven to work. Take a look at each to find out how they can help us reach the four requirements to clear skin:

Tea Tree Oil

Using it in cream or lotion will help protect your skin all day long!

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a great ingredient for acne because it contains lauric acid, a fatty acid that treats viral and bacterial infections.

Coconuts are high in vitamin E, which speeds up healing and smooths out the skin. This makes it a safe and effective moisturizer that helps keep your skin pH balanced.

These qualities make coconut oil a powerful tool in healing and preventing acne.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is famous for its ability to speed healing. Regular application will make sure your skin has the wide array of vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids it needs to repair quickly.

Another great benefit is the fact that it reduces pain and irritation, helping calm irritated skin.

Zinc may be a common mineral, but it’s skin benefits are impressive. Studies show it reduces bacterial skin infections, and has anti-inflammatory properties that can help with acne, rosacea, and eczema. It is particularly good at fighting acne, oily prone skin because it directly reduces sebum production.

If all that wasn’t enough, research has shown it boosts collagen production which is needed to build new skin. It improved healing in just 48 hours!

Burdock Root

Burdock root has been proven to directly treat acne, so it’s a no brainer why we included. Studies show it improves blood circulation to the skin, thus speeding healing.

It also improves skin quality and texture, helping you look your best. As an added bonus it reduces wrinkles!

It will work hard to help improve your skin texture and keep it healthy.

Goldenseal

You may not have heard of this herb, but you’ve probably know of the popular health supplement berberine. Berberine has been found to be antimicrobialanti-tumor, and anti-inflammatory, and this stuff is loaded with it!

Goldenseal can be used to treat many kinds of disease like acne, eczema, rashes and more. It has even shown to kill cancer and inhibit the growth of new cancer cells!

Dandelion Root

This common flower has a special power: because it is alkaline it treats skin diseases caused by fungus and microbes. This includes things like acne, itch, eczema, athlete’s foot, and more. It turns oily skin into balanced skin!

It also contains antioxidants that work to prevent wrinkles, while toning and firming skin.

White Willow Extract
