FAQ
Baby Powder:
How often should we use it?
We recommend using it at least every time you have a diaper change but feel free to use it as often as you need.
Why don’t you use talcum powder?
Talcum powders have recently been found to be linked to cancers and disrupting hormones. Given how crucial the healthy development of your baby is in that first year, it’s best to avoid anything that could interfere with hormones or potentially harm the mother.
Does it have the same texture as regular powder?
The texture is similar, but not quite as fine as your regular grocery store brand.
Diaper Rash Cream:
How much should I use?
It’s best to start with a dime sized amount and use more as needed.
How often should we use it?
Apply twice a day until fully gone. You can then switch to once a day to help prevent new rashes.
Can we use this with cloth diapers?
Yes it is totally fine to use with cloth and will not stain.
Super Balm:
How often can I use it?
As often as you need it! Unlike other creams and medications, there aren’t dangerous side effects to gentle organic ingredients.
How much should we apply?
That depends on what area you are trying to apply it to. If you need to apply it to the scalp for cradle cap, it’s best to start with a small amount and apply more as needed to prevent clumping. For larger areas, you can apply liberally.
My baby ate some. Is it safe?
This formula is USDA Certified organic with food-grade ingredients but since we don’t know what your baby’s allergies are, we just can’t say. It’s best to ask your pediatrician.
Does this stain clothes?
Since it’s a balm, there can be residue on clothes but will wash out quite easily.
The balm is too hard. What can I do?
Use the back side of your nail to scoop a little out and then warm between your thumb and index finger. It should apply easily after that.
Stretch Mark Oil:
How often should I apply it?
We recommend using it at least twice a day after washing the skin. Cleansing and exfoliating will help with absorption.
Is this just for women?
Stretch marks don’t just happen to women. Whether it’s from weight fluctuations, working out or whatever else, they can certainly happen to men.
Can I use this on scars?
Yes, especially on new scars and acne scars.
Is this only for the tummy area?
No, you can use the oil anywhere you need help including your face, breasts, arms, thighs, etc.
How long does it take to see results?
It takes new cells 4-6 weeks to work up from the base of your skin to the top.
Mommy Balm:
Do I have to wipe it off before breastfeeding?
While we use organic, food-grade ingredients it’s best to consult with your pediatrician since a baby’s allergies can vary.
How much should I use?
To prevent discomfort, start with a dime sized amount and spread evenly across the skin. Apply more as needed.
How often should I use this?
Feel free to use after every feeding as a preventative action or any time you need help with sensitive, inflamed skin.
Will this stain clothes?
No, this formula easily washes out of clothes and undergarments.
Why Is the balm hard to apply?
Colder weather can cause the balm to solidify. Just warm it between your fingers to apply more easily.
Bath Salts:
Does it work for athletes and sore muscles?
Absolutely. Our ingredients have shown to help reduce inflammation and calm muscles.
Why do you add the different ingredients?
While Epsom salt is amazing on it's own, we wanted to add dead sea salt for the various minerals and unique properties to it. We added essential oils for the skin, joints and muscles.
Can I use this before/after pregnancy?
This bath salt blend was formulated as our gift to moms. Whether you have achy joints, swollen feet, headaches, stretching skin or lower back aches- we want to help you treat yourself to a relaxing bath. After pregnancy it can be used as a sitz bath. We always suggest moms consult their physician.
How much Epsom salt for bath?
The beauty of our bath blend is, unlike with a bath bomb that forces you to use a certain amount, you can use as much or little as you need. If you want just a relaxing bath or shallow sitz bath, you can use a tablespoon or two. If you ache head to toe you can use 3-4 tablespoons or more. It all depends on your preference.
All Products:
What do I do if I experience burning or irritation?
First, we recommend testing a sample for any allergies. Allergies are very rare (less than 1%) but it’s best to be safe. We recommend testing on your inner wrist since that is more sensitive skin. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use and contact your physician.
