FAQ
Baby Powder:
How often should we use it?
We recommend using it at least every time you have a diaper change but feel free to use it as often as you need.
Why don’t you use talcum powder?
Talcum powders have recently been found to be linked to cancers and disrupting hormones. Given how crucial the healthy development of your baby is in that first year, it’s best to avoid anything that could interfere with hormones or potentially harm the mother.
Does it have the same texture as regular powder?
The texture is similar, but not quite as fine as your regular grocery store brand.
Diaper Cream:
How much should I use?
It’s best to start with a dime sized amount and use more as needed.
Can we use this with cloth diapers?
Yes it is totally fine to use with cloth and will not stain.
How often should it?
Apply twice a day until fully gone. You can then switch to once a day to help prevent new rashes.
Super Balm:
How often can I use it?
As often as you need it! Unlike other creams and medications, there aren’t dangerous side effects to gentle organic ingredients.
How much should we apply?
That depends on what area you are trying to apply it to. If you need to apply it to the scalp for cradle cap, it’s best to start with a small amount and apply more as needed to prevent clumping. For larger areas, you can apply liberally.
Does this stain clothes?
Since it’s a balm, there can be residue on clothes but will wash out quite easily.
The balm is too hard. What can I do?
Use the back side of your nail to scoop a little out and then warm between your thumb and index finger. It should apply easily after that.
All Products:
My baby ate some. Is it safe?
This formula is USDA Certified organic with food-grade ingredients but since we don’t know what your baby’s allergies are, we just can’t say. It’s best to ask your pediatrician.
What do I do if they experience burning or irritation?
First, we recommend testing a sample for any allergies. Allergies are very rare (less than 1%) but it’s best to be safe. We recommend testing on your inner wrist since that is more sensitive skin. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use and contact your physician.
